Places to write

Of course there's Starbucks, and we've mentioned Creative City Cafe, but Paul Guyot mentions what sounds to be an ideal writing place, the office. I'd heard about it before, but just based on Paul's recommendation, I might have to check it out. Wish it wasn't on the other side of town from me, but if you are in the mid-Wilshire/WeHo area, it may be a great new haunt. (Looks like they have a special right now for new customers of 2 free hours when you mention the website).

A friend of mine went around the time it opened (I think that was a couple years ago). Said it was worthwhile. I wanted to check it out then, but have since forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder!

They're further West -- in Santa Monica.

I, however, will plan to stick with my current haunt -- Beverly Hills Public Library. It is a beautiful and peaceful building, quiet, FREE wireless internet, and not far from home. I'm sure other libraries might be equally promising.

Hey writers:

The Office is awesome... but, now it's going private. Writer will have to be a member to write there. It is an awesome place to write. I revised on of my book proposals there...
