Production on Emily's Reasons Why Not Halted

Reported this morning in several places. Doesn't look good for the show. This officially places it in the 'waiting for the axe' category of the Watch List. One airing. Now, to be fair, at least Los Angeles was BLANKETED in advertising for this show, so if they couldn't get a curiousity tune-in factor, they can't build an audience for the show (theoretically).

Two reasons why no one tuned in: Heather Graham and the worst title for a TV show ever.

Probably deserves it, it's true...still, it is hypothetically true that in this enviorenment, even a good show couldn't find an audience.

I actually like heather graham, and not (i think) because of just the naked stuff...

Horrible story:

Two terrific writers who were on ERWN, were fired because they kept trying to change the show - make it different than what the network was demanding. Which was the crap you saw.

So, they fire them BEFORE the show airs, and now they are blaming these writers for the failure of the show. Going so far as to cancel the deal they had at the studio.

Beware, young TV scribes - you are only as good as your last work, and you are never out of danger of being a goat with scapes or a guy who falls...

Yikes! That is a fascinating and frightening tale you tell, Paul. I'd love to know the details, though I know the network would not...
