The TV Bloodletting begins

So, already we have at least two new shows with troubling Nielsens. "Emily's Reasons Why Not" and "Book of Daniel" have premiered to pretty small audiences. "In Justice" seems to be hanging in so far, and returnee "Jake in Progress" looks like it is off to a rocky start. I usually wait out two airings of a show before I categorize it in The Watch List, so we'll wait until the numbers come in next week, but so far, I'd say these shows have limited life.

Stay tuned...

I can usually get into a decent story even if it's a "chick flick" or something like that has a (likely) mostly female audience like Everwood (I've even watched episodes of Related).

So I can safely say that I can not STAND Emily's Reasons Why Not. First, the title alone pisses me off. 2nd, I did try to sit through the episode (I think the Heather Graham is quite hot). Couldn't make it more than 2 minutes. What a horrible show.

It had its entertaining moments, and women are crying out for a sex and the city replacement. Jake is the unwatchable one.

God, I wouldn't want to be a showrunner. One broadcast and you're on the bubble?

this Crumbs about a gay screenwriter starting tonight has my interest, and because CSI is a repeat and I am Tivo deficient, I'll check it out.. and as my wife exclaimed "William Devane in a comedy/"
