I haven't seen this tidbit in any of the usual places, so let's hope CNN International knows what they're talking about.
Medium and Friday Night Lights (according to this source) have received script orders for next year. Not full-fledged pick ups but it is encouraging.
I'll keep an eye out for confirmation on this...

I haven't watched Friday Night Lights yet - I'm more of a "How I Met Your Mother" guy.
Are you giving it a recommendation?
A lot of people are suggesting that these orders may just be in case of a writers strike.
Now if we can just make sure they film all the episodes in Texas!
I heard that FNL is all but guaranteed for next year, much like 30 Rock. You have to give credit to NBC for sticking with quality shows that garner low ratings. FNL's and 30 Rock just need a little time, they'll catch on. Love the Blog!!
