Got my rejection letter from the Warner Bros. Workshop yesterday, and since it's been a couple of weeks since people got calls from Disney, I'm guessing I'm out there too.
Oh well, always next year...
...still waiting to hear back on the Writer's Arc. The website says we'll hear Dec. 5, so keeping my fingers crossed.

Sorry and good luck!
Sorry to hear that. I've been lurking around different blogs to get mine started and was wondering what became of your efforts. Not to worry, your doin it! keep at it!
Thanks everyone for the good wishes.
Iain, I am not sending out query letters as of yet. I have just finished my polish draft of my 'House' spec. I would like to complete a polish of my 'Lost' spec before sending out to agencies. (Hopefully, someone will read the 'House', love it, want to read something else and I can give them the 'Lost' spec).
Got my bounce letter, too -- but do note the free seminar on Jan. 17th.
They do keep track of who applies, and perseverance does pay. So try again we must.
I'm sorry to hear about your "dink".
This wiating for the WA thing is killin' me. I dunno how you're keeping your fingers crossed and typing at the same time. My fingers are taped across the tips and together to prevent gnawing my fingernails to the nub... I'm typing this with my nose.
;)
Do keep trying. If it means anything, I was waitlisted and encouraged to reapply to USC grad screenwriting program. I DID reapply, and I did get in. And try not to see this as a contradiction:
Who needs them? I reject their rejection of you. They're dopes and morons and idiots and have no taste.
till you reapply.l
Sorry to hear that Shawna. Best of luck with those specs though.
clarkman's right -- and I've heard it said that they like when people reapply and they can see the improvement in their work. If it's any solace, this is my second try (to both disney and wb); my first tries were dinked, too.
