Man, ABC sure can piss away decent shows. Freddie was surprisingly funny, and Invasion had SO MUCH potential. These weren't perfect shows but I thought they were solid and would have had more success (especially Invasion) if they hadn't messed with their scheduling. Morons!

Any word on another season of Veronica Mars?

And have you checked out DeadThingsOnSticks blog? It's good.

No word on V. Mars as yet, but most of the rumors floating have said that the renewal of 7th Heaven may have killed it. We shall see...

I'm sure it was left open in the vain hope that the show might get picked up. Unfortunately, we'll never know what would have happened.

Sorry Invasion fans. Looks like this is the end of the line.

I can't believe ABC would keep a show like "Desparate Housewives" and cancel a quality show like "Invasion". Other than "24" and the cancelled "Surface", "Invasion" was the best show on TV. COME ON CW, please pick up this show.

"Invasion" was one of the most fun and different shows I have ever watched. I thought I would give the show a try at the beginning of the season and was hooked immediately. PLEASE CW OR SCI-FI,
pick up this show!!!!

I'm 54 years old, this was my favorite show, along with grey's, the housewives and others such as surface. I'm so mad at whoever decides on cancelations. The least you could do is give us an ending. I waited all week for this show. Sick of the way things are done.

i will never watch another "season one" ever again, unless the show gets picked up for a second season.

INVASION is my favorite show.

Invasion - We spent the last month watching something like 12 DVR episodes to get caught up for the finale, only to find out that it's not coming back. Boy am I mad that such a great show was cancelled. It was something different and always suspensful. Even the finale was suspenseful and now we'll never know...

Help bring Invasion back or at least get a movie to wrap things up. That was too much of a cliffhanger to perpetrate on so many loyal fans!

I just found out about invasion not being picked up for another season, and I really loved that show. If they knew it wasn't going to have a second season, then they could have at least ended the show. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen, and now I will never know.

When I watched the first episode of Invasion I wasn't sure I was going to like it but... it just kept getting better and better!!! I looked foward to seeing INVASION each week (even more than Lost).I found it to be so interesting and I really liked the characters. It was such a nice change from all the lawyer, csi & reality shows that are flooding the networks. All I can say is I hope it comes back or another network picks it up.I LOVE INVASION !!!

I am just sad!! I hate that they seem to cancel all the shows that I enjoy!! The show was awsome and if another channel picked it up I would be thrilled!! I am so done with ABC!!!

I saw a cloud on the way to work today. It was fluffy.

Gamera is a turtle, just not of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja" variety.

Other than the show "Lost", "Invasion"ldsgnq was the only other reason I would bother to watch ABC.

ABC sucks, I loved that movie and couldn't wait for it to return, now I won't watch ABC for anything

I could not believe Invasion was canceled- but what REALY frustrates me is the fact networks do not show the viewers or the producers of such a show, the respect to at least air one last 2 hours wrap-up to resolve the season ending cliff-hanger. Really, it is insult to injury screwing us all that way- I mean, why should WE the VIEWERS waste our time in the future watching any new shows that seem 'orignal' and 'risky' like this until we are sure the knuckle heads up top know what they are really going to do with a show!? Producers/show creators really need to have built into thier contracts a final show(s) cancelation clause for exactly this reason, that way, they can give thier fans & themselves closure. I know that is almost imposible for most shows to negotiate, but still it is worth trying.

I myself am in a business that is equally screwed up when it comes to sudden cancelations- The Video Game business- so I have seen lots of teams burned by the same small minded (but the numbers do not lie right?- wrong) execs and out of 18 video games made, have lost 2 games during development to exec randomness. I myself have also canceled games, but I am a 'working' exec (try it sometime guys, get your hands dirty). So my solution to this exact problem for our own creations is to build in a 'all IP rights, ownership, publishing rights, etc.' revert back to my studio in the event of a cancelation 'for convience' (i.e. not us sucking or bs specuation about product performance)- any publisher not willing is probably a dumb- something or other- who will screw you later without a 2nd though. I have self funded my own projects to get to the point to negotiate such deals and no longer are in the 'pimp-ho' relationship.

I digress.
So, it is too bad the Invasion people (who you would think have major pull considering the credits SC has!) can't just pack this thing up and put it with someone bold (sci-fi?) who will stick it out with them.. until then,
screw ABC for not giving us closure, this season I plan to be very careful about what I watch so I am not disapointed- lucky those clowns have lost or I would not both with them this year at all for being so short sighted.
