Ok, here's the movie that left me at the altar...

Four Weddings and a Funeral Abso-bloody-lutely brilliant...except the last 5 minutes.

"It's raining? I hadn't noticed." Worst. Delivery. Of Lame Line. EVER.

Okay, I'll give them that, but then they happily enjoy living in sin and not getting married or some crap like that?

To this day, I'll watch the film all the way through, and shut it off right before he goes after her. Makes me so mad.

I just flipped through a book on writing the romantic comedy and they use Four Weddings as examples, and say his speech when he runs after her is one of the best ever

His speech isn't the problem -- in fact, I like it right up until the 'let's not get married' part.

Of course, I have a general dislike for Andie McDowell, but that's another post...

love four weddings, but I do agree that line is absolutely horrible. Also, I don't really like andy mcdowell as an actress, either.

I do enjoy the fact that they agree not to get married. sometimes, this just works so much better for a couple.

Have you seen Love, Actually? Same writer, alos directed. Loved it.

I really respect Richard Curtis and I even like "Notting Hill" in spite of horsey face.

And yes, I've seen "Love, Actually" and it has now become one of those movies...you know the ones, when you see they are on HBO you instantly turn to it and think, 'oh, I could watch this again...'

Before you know it, you've seen it at least 12 times...

I can't count how many times I saw "Twister" this way...
